Congratulations! Kari Rude has been selected for the Center for Advanced Studies in Child Welfare’s 2018 Child Welfare Exemplary Service Award. This award was developed in order to recognize Minnesota child welfare supervisors and front-line workers in public, tribal, and private child-serving agencies for exemplary service to children and families. Awards are selected through a nomination process. We received a wonderful nomination from Kari’s supervisor Stacy Hennen. Stacy's nomination included detailed information on Kari’s hard work as a Social Services Supervisor, and her commitment to children and families. Kari’s work has demonstrated a commitment to engaging families, engagement in strengths-based work, a focus on reducing disparities in the child welfare system, utilization of research-supported practice, and much more.
