    Chemical dependency is a physical and/or psychological addiction characterized by the compulsive use of mood altering drugs.

    The Grant County Child and Youth Council is a local effort established in 1993 to form stronger connections between family, school and community so that all children and families can live productive lives.

  3. Child Support Enforcement Services

    Every child needs financial and emotional support. Every child has the right to this support from both parents. Devoted parents can be a loving and supporting force in a child’s life.

    Financial Support is for cash assistance, SNAP (food support), child care assistance, emergency help, long term care and waivered services.

    Grant County Social Services is responsible for licensing family child care homes, child and adult foster care homes in the county.
