Child Care Assistance Program

Affordable child care is important to Minnesota families. It aids children’s healthy development and gives parents peace of mind. Parents who have low incomes may get help paying for it through the Child Care Assistance Program.  Child care needs of parents whose income is below the 175% FPG and are in an authorized activity such as employment.  You can obtain an application at Grant County Social Services office or apply on line at ApplyMN.

A copy of the 2018 -2019 Grant County Count Child Care Fund Plan, in draft form, is available at Grant County Social Services. 


       If you have comments regarding this plan, please contact Kim Gullickson at 218-685-8200. This plan will be available for review and comment until September 19th, 2017 at which time it will be sent to the Department of Human Services for final approval.
